Due to planning, hauling drums, paying for transportation and rent, the following is Taiko Shine’s cancelation policy. If there are any issues or questions, please contact us.
Class or Drum for Fun Sessions in rented space:
• At least 3 people confirmed by Thursday at 8:00 am to rent the space and bring full drums (no pads).
• With 3+ people, we’ll meet at the rented space for the full-length class.
• With 2 people, we’ll meet at Hendon for a 60-minute class.
• Fewer than 2 → class canceled for the week.
• Cancellations after Thursday morning for a Monday or Wednesday morning for a Friday: 50% of the class fee is due (applies once you’ve committed, regardless of payment timing).
Saturdays (Hendon):
• 3+ people: 90-minute session
• 2 people: 60-minute session
• Cancellations within 48 hours: 50% of the class fee is due.
Rates:
• Rates remain the same regardless of 60- or 90-minute length, since two-person classes are more focused and individualized.
• The sliding scale remains in place, and everyone stays at their established rate. If your circumstances change, please come talk to me.
Advance sign-up:
• Commit to 4 classes and receive 10% off. Advance sign-ups count toward the minimum to run class.

Also, if there is an emergency and a person cancels, that would be an exception, and I would not worry about the cancelation fee. I truly want this flexible and friendly, but think it will be better for the program to have a system in place.
